How to apply pre shave oil Put 3-4 drops in the palm of your hand and then gently "slap" both palms together for 1-2 seconds before massaging the oil into the face. Don't rub your palms together or for too long as the oil will be then massaged into your palms and not into your face. Let the oil "work" for at least 1 minute before applying the lather. Use this minute to wash the oil from your hands.
