Shares of sunflower oil contaminated by hydrocarbons would be again on sale. One would even find it in the composition of some food products as cooked dishes, of the mayonnaises or vinaigrettes.
Last April 23, the Commission European had thrown an alert following the discovery of a share contaminated of sunflower oil from Ukraine. The whole cargo had then was seized.
But history intensifies. According to the CLCV (Consumption Lodging and Setting of Life) and the Linked Duck, another Ukrainian import of oil contaminated would have been unloaded in Sète in last February, then distributed in France, in Germany, to Netherlands, in Italy, in Greece, in Malta and in Spain. Contaminating it would come from the refinement of oil destined to lubricate the machines.
However the contaminated shares have not been withdrawn from the market. After appraisals of the European, only sanitary agencies the products containing more than 10% of sunflower oil contaminated were the subject of a withdrawal Indeed. The public powers defined a supportable contamination level therefore without risk for health. The products of which the doorsteps of oil contaminated remain lower to the 10% continue to be marketed and ingested by the consumers.
For the CLCV, this crisis is managed in a deplorable way. She calls the European commission and the French government to more to be content with simple recommendation opposite the professionals and ask an adulterated withdrawal obligatory of all containing products of oil: Â dishes cooked, mayonnaises...
